What We Believe
The congregation at St. Paul's United Church is founded on the traditions of the United Church of Canada. We welcome all folk into our community, regardless of gender, ethnicity, sexual orientation, or background. Whether you are a seeker, a believer, or a skeptic, our doors are open to you. We cherish a community where we can express our love and gratitude for God through worship, music, and charity. Our church holds not only weekly services, but also Friday and Sunday discussion groups.
As a community of faith, and in response to God’s teaching through Jesus to love and accept all, we welcome and include the full participation of all people in the life, leadership and work of our ministry. Therefore we are creating and will continue to create a community where we journey together embracing a diversity of sexual orientations, gender identities, ethnicities, cultures, statuses, ages, and abilities. As a church family, we consist of and celebrate a wide diversity of family compositions.

A New Creed of the United Church of Canada
We are not alone,
We live in God's world.
We believe in God:
who has created and is creating,
who has come in Jesus,
the Word made flesh,
to reconcile and make new,
who works in us and others by the Spirit.
We trust in God.
We are called to be the Church:
to celebrate God's presence,
to live with respect in Creation,
to love and serve others,
to seek justice and resist evil,
to proclaim Jesus, crucified and risen,
our judge and our hope.
In life, in death, in life beyond death,
God is with us.
We are not alone.
Thanks be to God.
